DIVORCE

Our divorce services include all documents from the first step through the finalization of your divorce as provided by the Oregon Judicial Department. Our services do not include Court filing fees and costs

SUPPORT

There may be both child and spousal support issues that come before the court. Support is generally based on the income, expenses, and capacity of the parties, and for child support the amount of overnight stays with one parent, medical and child care costs

MEDIATION / SETTLEMENT

Most Courts require the parties to mandatory mediation before any hearings are set before the Court. This is a time for either party to suggest a settlement offer to the other party with respect to custody, parenting, support, and division of marital assets

RESTRAINING ORDERS

CUSTODY

Custody issues are never easy, and the Court encourages the parties to mediate in the best interest, health, safety, and welfare of the children. The Court will not grant joint custody, but only if the parents agree to the physical and legal custody share

PARENTING TIME

Parenting time is the actual time a parent will spend with a child, and there is a Standard Parenting Plan in each County, or parents may agree upon a custom schedule including holidays, birthdays, summer and vacation planning, phone and video contact

MODIFICATIONS

In general, the Courts do not like to modify divorce degrees unless there is a substantial change of circumstance with regard to employment, income, residency, an illness, injury, death, or a serious crime involves either parent

PROCESS SERVING
'God of justice, we pray for your sovereignty to prevail in divorce court. We pray that this marriage will be dissolved peacefully and justly. May we receive the relief we seek with regard to support, division of property, and custody. As we go through this process, may we be honest and fair. Amen'

We may help you request a restraining order against the other party under the FAPA Family Abuse Prevention Act. Based on sufficient facts and evidence, or police and DHS reports in the claim, a Court may issue a restraining order

We offer legal document process serving to individuals either by service at their residence, job, in court, or in public. We may also help you obtain an Order for alternate service methods. If you are a party to a case, you may not serve the other party.

SMALL CLAIMS

Small claims are filed to resolve disputes without Attorneys. A small claim in Oregon may be up to $10,000, and the statue of limitations to file for property damages and a contract dispute is 6-years. Personal injury matters expire in 2-years. Filing fees vary by County, but range from $50-$100.

LANDLORD-TENANT

We can help you reply with an intent notice to evict for non-payment, or other claims made by a landlord. Oregon law had a recent change effective March 1, 2023 we can inform you about. As a tenant, or landlord, each party has certain rights and protections by law, and a claim or defense may not always be about money, or non-payment

BANKRUPTCY CHAPTER 7

Chapter 7 Bankruptcy does not involve  the filing of a plan for repayment. Chapter 7 generally will discharge debts for credit card debt, medical bills, and some loans. We can help you prepare documents providing you relief from creditors. The process can take up to six months

WILLS / ESTATES / GUARDIANSHIP

Our service will guide you in establishing security, protection, and survivorship of family or personal assets, money, vehicles, trust funds, and real estate holdings. We can help you establish a personal representative, and beneficiaries for inheritance. Without a Will, the State could obtain a family or personal estate.

NAME CHANGE / ADOPTION

We provide documents for a Change of Name, Sex and Judgment for Change of Name, and will assist you with making the change with DMV, birth certificate, social security card, etc.. The Court generally will not require you to appear unless the change involves a minor. The process, other than adoption can be completed in 14 days.

NOTARY

We identify, verify, witness, and acknowledge documents, identity, and signatures of persons upon an oath for legal certification of various documents including real estate, car titles, contracts, wills, medical release forms, power of attorney, affidavits, and other forms.
